The infamous Farming Simulator series is getting a new experience with Farming Simulator VR, giving Meta Quest players a new hands-on way to virtually farm.
GIANTS Software announced today that Farming Simulator is hitting VR for the first time as a standalone game, releasing a trailer and a series of screenshots to celebrate the news.
The simulator will feature many of the same things that the rest of the franchise does, though players shouldn’t expect a one-to-one of the latest hit Farming Simulator 25. However, they can look forward to sowing and harvesting crops, using and maintaining agricultural machines, and even power washing.
Players can look forward to growing crops in fields and greenhouses, each offering its own experience. Greenhouses offer a more intimate experience as players will need to hand-pick the fruits of their labor, while the fields let players experience the thrill of farm machinery.
Farming Simulator VR will let players see the highly detailed cabin of their tractors and harvesters. Of course, they’ll include machinery from real-life prestigious brands like John Deere, Case IH, Fendt, and CLASS.
Maintaining the machinery is another important aspect of the sim — players will need to do routine checkups and replace parts as needed, making sure they stay clean, as well.

Farming Simulator VR will be released on February 28 for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3S, and Meta Quest Pro.
