Farming Simulator 25 Previews Improved AI Helpers and New GPS Steering Assist

Running a farm all by yourself is no easy job, even if it is in a virtual landscape. Today, GIANTS Software showed off some new gameplay elements for the next installment in its hit simulation series Farming Simulator 25.

In the Steam blog post, the developers showed off two new features that will make life a lot easier for players: AI workers and steering assist (GPS).

AI workers have been a part of the Farming Simulator series from almost the outset, though many players have found their output to be a bit hit or miss. In Farming Simulator 25, AI workers are much smarter, as the ideal settings for each are predetermined based on their job. You can check out a bit more of a breakdown below:

As you can see in the pictures below, the AI helper will always work within the borders of a field and will choose the best direction to operate his machine automatically in Farming Simulator 25.

AI will also assist players with steering. Each tractor features a customizable Steering Assist menu in the AI settings where you can adjust work width, number of headlands, side offset, and much more.

Farming Simulator 25 is set to be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on November 12, 2024.
