Giants Software has released Patch 1.7 for Farming Simulator 25, bringing two new machines, improved performance for everyone, bug fixes, and even a few modding options.
To start with, the two new machines are the Göweil G4010 Q Profi bale wrapper and the John Deere 8R eAutoPowr livery. These two expand the lines of products available from each of the already-established brands in the sim.
Another big part of Patch 1.7 of Farming Simulator 25 is the performance improvements. Both single-player and multiplayer saves will run better, and some of the bug fixes will even make them look better.
While these improvements are great, it’s important to remember that the first time launching Farming Simulator 25 after the patch can cause stuttering as the sim recompiles shaders.
When it comes to bug fixes and other changes, Patch 1.7 fixed a ton of things. These include the following:
- Stability improvements
- Text and translation fixes
- Multiplayer map sync speed
- Color of cut grass
- Delivering goods with several harvest contracts fixed to prioritize the contract that has the highest overall progress
- Fixed fences being removed around animal pastures
- Fixes when recharging electric machines
- Fixed dual wheel connector problems
- Added missing corn harvest animation (consoles)
- Fixed visual issues with grass showing that it’s ready to be harvested when it’s not
Several other bug fixes were implemented as well. Players can see the full list of those here on the Farming Simulator’s Patch 1.7 notes.
Those who mod the sim will be happy to see several fixes and additional support for modding. Now, players can add and overwrite different fruit types for maps, and there are new features to help with debugging mod map configurations.
Additionally, several areas have been adjusted to make modding a bit easier. Other crash fixes and issues with things working incorrectly have been fixed.
Patch 1.7 has been released, though some consoles may be slower in pushing it out. Farming Simulator 25 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
If you’re just hopping into Farming Simulator 25 or coming back after a hiatus, be sure to check out Patch 1.6 and the recent NEXAT pack, which was a first of its kind.
