Today, Giants Software showed off the first official look at its next expansion pack for Farming Simulator 25, titled Highlands Fishing, which is set to release later this year on November 4, 2025, for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
In this new fun and fishy Farming Simulator 25 expansion, players will be able to build their own farm and man a fishing boat in the town of Kinlaig. Inspired by the rolling hills of Scotland, this lush paradise features green rolling hills and open waters aplenty to cultivate and explore.
The new map of Kinglaig is covered with rough grass, cattle, and an overcast sky that will make tilling the land a challenge. The addition of fishing makes for a whole new layer of farming, with the sea allowing aquafarmers to breed, raise, and harvest various fish, offering productive ways to gather resources while also enjoying the serenity that comes with a rod in your hand out on the water.
Highlands Fishing also introduces onions as the newest crop, which features its own specialized equipment for picking. There will also be four brand new vehicles introduced: Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread & GT Bunning.
Farming Simulator 25 is available now for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. You can also get the whole Year 1 Season Pass for $29.99, which includes the Plains & Prairies pack, two more packs, and the upcoming expansion.
