Farming Simulator 25 Celebrates 4 Million Copies Sold With New Year 2 Season Pass

In just its first week of release back in November 2024, Farming Simulator 25 crossed an impressive threshold for copies sold, setting a series record of 2 million copies sold. Earlier this year, Giants Software revealed that those numbers kept on climbing, passing 3 million units sold. Today, the simulator has officially hit 4 million sold.

Farming Simulator isn’t simply done after its first year of success, as the developers revealed that the Year 2 Season Pass is already well into development, featuring additional packs and a major expansion throughout 2026. The first and second quarters of the year will see the release of two packs, while the fourth quarter is reserved for something bigger.

While they were a bit vague regarding what exactly it’ll entail, Giants Software stated it’ll be another major expansion, similar to the recent Highlands Fishing DLC, which introduced a brand new Scottish locale, 20 new machines, and plenty of interesting gameplay mechanics.

Alongside all of the future content to come, it was also revealed that a bonus machine is available now: the JCB WFT. Also known as the world’s fastest tractor, clocking in at 53.77 mph, this machine features a lower standard cab, new cab air deflectors, a front splitter, belly plays, and a rear diffuser. You can see it in all of its glory below:

The series has had a huge impact on the simulation genre since the first game was released back in 2008. Across eight mainline titles and five mobile games, the franchise has sold over 25 million copies combined and had 90 million mobile downloads.

Farming Simulator 25 is available now for PC, Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, starting for $49.99 – not including the additional DLC options and bundles. For more information on this and other upcoming content that is heading to the sim, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
