Today, UMEO Studios showed off a brand new trailer for its upcoming farming simulation sequel, Farmer’s Dynasty 2. The gameplay footage comes from the Gamescom 2024 event, which is now in full swing. In it, we see all the different ways that players will be able to tend to their farms, ranging from cutting down trees with chainsaws to tilling crops with heavy machinery.
You can check out the full gameplay trailer and some screenshots for Farmer’s Dynasty 2 right at the bottom of the page. The initial game in the series was released in 2017, and it allowed players to enjoy a unique mixture of building and harvesting their farm.
While similar to the premise of Farming Simulator, Farmer’s Dynasty placed even more emphasis on completing odd jobs around the farm. It even went as far as letting you interact with an open world and collect social points that you could put towards unlockable rewards.
The sequel looks to improve upon those same mechanics while also modernizing gameplay a bit, quite literally. Alongside weather cycles and other new features, you can take old, broken-down farms and renovate them to be as good as new. From there, you can start a family and even pass down your farm throughout generations, creating a true Farmer’s Dynasty.
