Last month, EA Sports revealed that the next installment in its hit FIA Formula One World Championship series would return to consoles and PC in late May. Today, fans got a sneak peek at some of the new features they can expect from F1 25, including a complete overhaul of My Team.
My Team 2.0 boasts a ton of new changes in F1 25, this time around focusing on team management, strategic decision-making, and overseeing two separate drivers as you take over the role of team owner. As the owner, you’ll need to recruit and manage these drivers, testing their skills and developing them in order to decide who to pick on race day to control.
Alongside the course decisions, you’ll be responsible for several day-to-day duties, including facilities operations like engineering, personnel, and corporate. Each of these management systems will contribute to your team’s development, from improvements in the research and development fields to improving your overall team finances.

Speaking of facilities, My Team 2.0 introduced a brand new Team HQ in F1 25, which lets you explore and customize a physical space that grows alongside your success. The progression system in general has also been modified in the newest installment in the series, as earning Accolades and outperforming rivals boosts Fan Rating, unlocks valuable perks, new sponsorship opportunities, and the chance to sign more prestigious drivers.
F1 25 will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 30, 2025. For more information on this and other hit racing simulators like JDM: Japanese Drift Master, check back to Simulation Daily.
