Skulls 2025, the Warhammer video game festival that celebrates the Warhammer universe through video games, was held earlier today, and here’s everything that was revealed at the festival.
Additionally, the Warhammer Community has revealed screenshots for each of the reveals, which can be found below the trailers themselves.
The first reveal was for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition, a remaster of the original from developers SneakyBox and Relic Entertainment and publisher Sega. It will release with updated graphics, audio, controls, and more on June 10, 2025, for PC and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Game Pass day one with crossplay.
While it wasn’t discussed, it’s worth noting that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 was officially announced a little over a week ago.
Next up for announcements was Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, a return to the 41st Millennium with developer and publisher Owlcat. This will be released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 5.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition from developer and publisher Relic Entertainment was up next. The Definitive Edition combines all of the expansions from the original with new and updated visuals. It’s all been rebuilt on a 64-bit platform, which means that the slew of mods from the past 20 years will still be compatible with the Definitive Edition. It will be released on PC.
Next, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 was revealed. The boomer shooter from developer Auroch Digital and publisher Big Fan Games will be released in 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Additionally, the unique typing action game Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Words of Vengeance from Auroch Digital was released today. The game is free and available on PC now.
A new Siege Mode for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was teased, which is a new mode that puts groups of three against a never-ending swarm of Tyranids on Kadaku. This will be a free mode that anyone can enjoy in Space Marine 2 from developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment.
Additionally, Warhammer+ members will get access to the cosmetic breastplate of Sergeant Metaurus from Secret Level next month, and the White Scars Chapter Pack and Blood Angels Cosmetic Pack DLCs are right around the corner.
Next, developer and publisher Fatshark revealed that a new character class, Arbites, will be coming to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on June 23. This will be a DLC available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with a brand-new early game experience.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is getting its second major DLC, Lex Imperialis, and developer and publisher Owlcat Games announced that it would be released on June 24. Owlcat Games also revealed that it’s working on Season 2 and two more DLCs for Rogue Trader.
A new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 from developer Bulwark Studios and publisher Kasedo Games. There’s no release date yet, though it will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Next, a mobile game from Twin Harbour Interactive and Stillfront titled Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000 was revealed. This is a strategy game in the Supremacy franchise, and players can pre-order it now on Android. Pre-orders on iOS will come soon.
Developers Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive teased the Tides of Torment DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3. This teaser not only gave a name to the DLC, but it also showed the second Legendary Lord.
Next, Rust (Facepunch Studios) revealed a collaboration with Warhammer 40,000, bringing several iconic cosmetic skins for characters, their base, and weapons. This will take form in the Death Korps of Krieg Pack, which currently has no release date.
Next, developer Caged Element and publisher Wired Productions revealed that the combat racing game Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks left early access and fully launched during the presentation.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 from Fatshark released the free Well of Dreams update that included a new map and a conclusion to the campaign.
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, the mobile game from Snowprint Studios, received a trailer for the new Adeptus Custodes characters. They’ve been added to the game, along with other events, today.
Slitherine released a new narrative campaign for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector along with more new content. The trailer also teased the upcoming Black Legion faction.
Next, developer Proxy Studios and publisher Slitherine revealed the new Onslaught pack for Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War. Keep in mind that Gladius – Relics of War is available on Steam for free until May 29.
Blood Bowl 3 from developer Cyanide Studio and publisher Nacon is entering its ninth season on June 10, which is also when a new faction, the Khorne team, is joining the fun.
Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge from Everguild, the mobile and PC card game, received an update with the Emperor’s Children for Skulls 2025.
Additionally, the other Warhammer 40,000 mobile card game, Warhammer The Horus Heresy: Legions also from Everguild, released the Beta-Garmon expansion with the Shattered Legions.
Developer Well Played Games and publisher The Phoenix Lighthouse showed off a new battle pass for Warhammer Combat Cards, another card game on mobile and PC.
Additionally, Nomad Games revealed the Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons DLC for Talisman: Digital 5th Edition. This DLC will include co-op, among other things, and will be released on July 10 on PC.
And, last but not least for Skulls 2025, DK Books is releasing The Art of Warhammer Video Games, a coffee table book. This will be released on November 6, 2025.
