According to the reveal, two more massive cargo types will be introduced, starting with a 30-meter-long Wind Turbine Blade.

It comes with a dedicated blade hauler semi-trailer featuring a 30-meter, 4-axle chassis where every axle is steerable. The trailer itself weighs over 20 tons, while the blade weighs 5.5 tons.

The second new cargo type is the Underground Loader, a heavy-duty machine for mining operations. It’s carried on a steerable 6-axle low loader trailer.

The trailer is 25 meters long and weighs 35 tons. The machinery on its own weighs 54.5 tons.

New routes will be included. For the turbine blade, from Rostock to Berlin in Germany, while there will also be one for the Nordic Horizon DLC, from Jyväskylä to Vaasa.

For the Underground Loader, you’ll go from Dortmund to Hannover. There will also be a route in the Nordic Horizon DLC, from Narvik to Kiruna.

You can see them both in the gallery below.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 Special Transport DLC Update

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced.

Update 1.57 will also bring the first iteration of dynamic loading and unloading.

Nordic Horizons will likely be the next paid DLC. You can already check out its gameplay reveal, on top of the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, Kiruna, its famous wooden church, fjords and mountains, and the Custom Depots.

In parallel, SCS Software is working on a refresh of the Scandinavian DLC, where you can enjoy the city of Aarhus, Motorway 16 in Denmark, Copenhagen, and Karlstad.

The development team is also hard at work updating other areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we recently saw the port of Rotterdam and the city of Brussels.

The Iceland DLC was announced a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.

The last national DLC announced a few days ago focuses on Ireland.

Another interesting DLC will bring Coaches into the game, and we recently saw its bus stations and the Scania Touring.
