SCS Software has showcased a city that will appear in the next DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 titled Nordic Horizons, and it’s Oulu in Finland.
The city, which is one of the oldest in northern Finland and the fifth-largest in the country in terms of population, includes large industrial zones including a food producer and a chemical factory.
There is also a relevant port to and from where you’ll be able to deliver goods. Sea, land, and air transport converge in this location as Oulu also has a relevant airport, albeit SCS did not confirm its presence in the DLC. That being said, it was released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 almost exactly one month ago.
There are also plenty of landmarks to visit like the central bridge spanning the Oulujoki River, the railway station, and more. From the coastline, you’ll also be able to see the surrounding islands.
The city features a variety of roads including major road junctions, wide city avenues, and narrow streets. You can check Oulu up in the gallery below.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available exclusively for PC and it recently received update 1.53 with the rework of Germany, (including Berlin, München, Mannheim, Leipzig, and Dresden) and another rework for the Volvo FH Series 4. Free add-ons including the Iveco S-Way and the Volvo FH Series 6 and 5 have also been released.
A DLC dedicated to Greece has been recently released and you can take a look at screenshots of the Highways, a massive cement production plant, the Corinth Canal, industries and depots, some natural vistas, big cities, smaller ones on the coast, the hotels, and an extensive gameplay video.
