Euro Truck Simulator 2 Shows the Town of Andenes from Nordic Horizons DLC

Today, SCS Software released a new gallery of images and details about the upcoming Nordic Horizons DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Specifically, we take a look at the town of Andenes in the northernmost part of the Andøya island in Norway.

It also includes the Andøya Air Station and a large port, on top of Norway’s fourth-tallest lighthouse. More landmarks include a church built in the typical Nordic style.

Gameplay-wise, you can find jobs at the logistics depot in the port area, make deliveries to the local supermarket, and at a material store in the southern part of town.

You can check out the gallery below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available exclusively for PC. Recently, version 1.54 has been released.

That being said, some features of update 1.55 are already being tested, on top of a new Asynchronous Loading feature that should reduce stutters and improve smoothness. It’s worth mentioning that this is not the official beta of version 1.55, which is likely to come at a later date.

At the moment, we don’t yet have a release date for the Nordic Horizons DLC, but you can check out its landscapeslandmarksthe city of Ouluthe churches, the lakes of Finland, and more roadside landmarks.

The nearby (geographically) Scandinavia DLC will also get a relevant and free update to match its quality.

We have recently learned about the rework in the works for the Benelux region, which is one of the many projects currently in the works.
