SCS Software isn’t stopping at the UK rework for Euro Truck Simulator 2, but it’s crossing the Irish sea with a new Ireland DLC.
The DLC, which can already be wishlisted on Steam, will include both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, each offering its own unique atmosphere.
Of course, the capitals of Dublin and Belfast will be included, alongside the green countryside and the iconic coastal roads.
Landmarks aplenty will be portrayed, like the Rock of Cashel, Ben Bulben, the Samson and Goliath cranes and the Giant’s Causeway.
You’ll be able to cross the sea to other nations via ferry ports like Rosslare and plenty more. Below, you can enjoy the trailer and the first screenshots.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. The upcoming update 1.57 has already been announced, and it’ll bring the first iteration of dynamic loading and unloading.
The next paid DLC will be Nordic Horizons. You can already check out its gameplay reveal, on top of the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, Kiruna, its famous wooden church, fjords and mountains, and the Custom Depots.
In parallel, SCS Software is working on a refresh of the Scandinavian DLC, where you can enjoy the city of Aarhus, Motorway 16 in Denmark, Copenhagen, and Karlstad.
The development team is also hard at work updating other areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we recently saw the port of Rotterdam and the city of Brussels.
The Iceland DLC was announced a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.
Another interesting DLC will bring Coaches into the game, and we recently saw its bus stations and the Scania Touring.
