Today SCS Software released new screenshots and details about the upcoming Greece DLC that will soon be released for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
This time around, we take a look at the hotel resorts that will be included in the DLC, which is quite appropriate considering how important the tourism industry is in Greece.
They are all based on real-world locations and they’re all unique, albeit one that is actually located in Rhodes had to be moved to Lesbos due to size constraints.
Some changes have also been made for gameplay reasons so that the hotels have enough space for parking spots of varying difficulties, albeit the developers preserved their picturesque looks.
As a result, the hard parking spots are designed for skilled players and they’re more challenging than those you’ll find at other depots.
Those who also own the Special Transport DLC will be able to enjoy a variety of routes in Greece, including the following:
- Athens to Athens
- Thessaloniki to Trikala
- Ioannina to Vlore (West Balkans DLC required)
They include challenging maneuvers, albeit players will be escorted by trained teams and local police as usual.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available exclusively for PC. Its version 1.53 recently entered beta testing including the much-awaited German rework. The Greece DLC will release on December 4.
If you’d like to see more of the DLC, you can check out screenshots of the Highways, a massive cement production plant, the Corinth Canal, industries and depots, some natural vistas, big cities, and smaller ones on the coast, on top of an extensive gameplay video.
Recently, the simulator received a handy Driving Academy feature which will certainly help with the challenging maneuvers required in Greece, while another DLC is in the works titled Nordic Horizons and focusing on Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
A few weeks ago, the game was in attendance at several booths at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, once more showcasing the inevitable ties between simulation and real-world transportation and logistics.
