From the Illinois DLC for American Truck Simulator, we get to take a look at Quincy.

The town includes several landmarks like the boat club building, the church in the city center, the local community center, the museum, the marina, and the water treatment facility, on top of Washington Park, the Bayview Bridge, and the Memorial Bridge.

As for finding jobs, you’ll be able to deliver from and to a home improvement store, a parking lot construction site, a garden center, a factory producing superstructures for pickup trucks, and a grain elevator. Two more depots have not yet been announced, including one made specifically for this DLC.

You can check out the screenshots below.

Moving on to the Nordic Horizons DLC, we take a look at Kristiansund in Norway.

The city is accessible from the west via the Atlanterhavstunnelen (Atlantic Ocean Tunnel), which is part of the Norwegian County Road 64, or from the south via the Omsundbrua (Omsund Bridge).

Within the city, you’ll find the Kirkelandet Church on top of industries where to find work, like a car dealer, a warehouse, a waste transfer station, and the local airport.

You can check it out below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available exclusively for PC.

The refresh of the Scandinavia DLC (of which you can enjoy the city of Aarhus) is in the works alongside the Nordic Horizons DLC, of which you can check out the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, and the town of Andenes.

Speaking of reworks, the BeNeLux region is also getting a refresh, and we recently saw the port of Rotterdam.

Last, but not least, an Iceland DLC was announced a few weeks ago, providing a definitely unique environment for the simulator..

The Nordic Horizons DLC should be the first to come, although a release date has not been announced. SCS Software tends to reveal release dates only a few days before they actually happen.

American Truck Simulator is also available exclusively for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2.

We already know that Iowa will be the next DLC to release, coming on July 10, 2025. If you want to see more, you can enjoy a look at Iowa’s fields, the truck stops, the towns, the road network, more settlements, the bridges, an Ethanol plant, the farming industry, the river ports, and the city of Davenport.

We also recently saw plenty of gameplay showing a route from a feedmill depot near Waterloo to an agricultural facility close to Iowa City.

SCS Software also recently revealed Illinois, of which you can see the truck stops, the city of Marion, and Rockford. Another DLC that we know is coming is Louisiana, and we saw its truck stops, welcome centers, buildings, some cities, and smaller settlements.

The latest DLC announced by the developer is South Dakota, while a rework has been revealed for the areas around the famous Route 66.

Perhaps the most interesting recent announcement is the Road Trip mode, which will let you drive pickup trucks and other vehicles in the same world that has been reserved for cargo transport until now, including new reasons to drive and explore.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is also getting its own special project, specifically Project Coaches, which will add coach buses to the sim.
