Esports History, a one-of-a-kind RPG simulation game, releases today, giving players the chance to become an esports pro by starting from the bottom.
In Esports History, players aim to rise in the esports community of their choice. The main character can choose between a few different games to focus on. Each of these is playable with mini-games based on major esports games. There is an automatic mode for those who aren’t interested in playing the mini-games.
There’s also a management side to the game. Players have to manage their time – after all, no one’s a pro overnight, and adults have to make money somehow. Balancing work and practice is important, and it’s just as important to manage stress levels. The mental aspect of esports is important. While practicing every spare second is tempting, players will need to rest often.
When it comes to practicing, players can head to a local PC club to improve. There are different stats to focus on, like macro play and itemization. These stats do change a bit depending on the esports game the player chooses to play. However, practice is important for all of them.
The story in Esports History is also important. Players will meet and grow in the gaming community, making friends and rivals along the way. The story is what makes Esports History stand out compared to other esports management-type simulation games.
Esports History releases at 3am CEST today, October 3, on Steam. There’s also a free prologue to try the game out for players who are on the fence.
