Escape Simulator 2 Reveals Spooky Release Date

Pine Studio has revealed the release date for Escape Simulator 2, and the sequel to the first puzzle game is coming right in time for Halloween on October 21 on PC.

Escape Simulator 2 is centered on puzzles in various environments, giving players a chance to enjoy the popular pastime by themselves or with others. Escape Simulator 2 has room for up to eight players to tackle the 12 new escape rooms.

There will also be Room Editor 2.0, which gives players the chance to create their own escape rooms. This was a feature in the first Escape Simulator, though everything from the lighting engine to the animation editor has been upgraded.

Considering the Escape Simulator had a community feature where players could share their rooms and visit other rooms, there should be plenty to explore. The community already looks promising, as Escape Simulator 2 has over 250,000 wishlists already.

Escape Simulator 2 has a demo available now, giving players a chance to dive into Dracula’s Castle. The game’s full launch will include environments like a cursed pirate ship and an abandoned starship.

Fans can get a look at Escape Simulator 2 in the release date trailer below. It shows a bit of the content included in the demo, along with content that will be available at the release later this year.

In the meantime, fans can check out the first Escape Simulator. The sim has several DLCs to check out and keep players entertained while they wait for the sequel.
