Last year, NASCAR and iRacing combined real-life and virtual racing for the third time at the finale of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, taking place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The event was so successful that they decided to return in 2025 to celebrate next month’s finale, which will take place in Charlotte on Tuesday, October 7.

For the fourth consecutive year, the top four drivers in the virtual stock car iRacing series will compete on stage for a top prize of $100,000 and the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cup. The event first took place back in 2022, when Casey Kirwan defeated Bobby Zalenski to claim his first series title. The next year, it was won by Steven Wilson, and last year, Parker White became the first driver to win the eNASCAR title on stage while also winning the finale the previous year.

This year’s eNASCAR Championship racers will be competing on the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway, made up of past champions like Steven Wilson and Zack Novak, as well as first-time Championship 4 driver Vicente Salas, who earned their spots with wins in playoff races. In contrast, Casey Kirwan managed to gain the final spot by qualifying on points.

Sr. Director of Esports NASCAR Ray Smith had the following to say regarding the excitement around returning for yet another year of the event:

“Returning to the NASCAR Hall of Fame for the fourth year of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Championship is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of,” said Smith. “This venue not only honors the legends of our sport but also provides the perfect stage to showcase the next chapter of racing’s future. We look forward to creating history once again in this beautiful setting, surrounded by the passion and energy that makes iRacing such a vital part of NASCAR’s story.”

The live broadcast will be based in Charlotte and stream on the eNASCAR Countdown to Green, which will start at 7:30 p.m. ET, while the green flag will drop at 8 p.m. ET. For more virtual racing esports news, check out Assetto Corsa’s Hot Laps events, Moza Racing’s Team USA partnership, and more.
