Today, Electronic Arts officially unveiled EA Sports FC 27, giving fans their first look at gameplay while also revealing the Ultimate Plus Edition cover.
The EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition cover features Real Madrid teammates Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham and is available until August 31, 2026. This edition offers up to 10,000 FC Points across five months, Premium Passes for the first five seasons, exclusive Ultimate Team content, and up to seven days of early access.
Mbappé, previously featured on the Standard and Ultimate Editions, now appears alongside Jude Bellingham on the Ultimate Plus Edition cover.

EA Sports FC 27 will add major updates across the series’ core modes, including The Grounds, a new social football experience, which expands Clubs with casual and competitive matches, progression systems, and player customization.
The Grounds mode will only be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players can also receive mentorship from football stars like Kylian Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala, and returning story mode character Alex Hunter.
Manager Career now features a fully overhauled transfer market powered by TransferRoom, with more realistic player values, dynamic bidding, smarter AI recruitment, and improved negotiations. Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery, where players can collect and complete themed sets of player items to increase Gallery Level and unlock rewards during the season.
EA Sports FC 27 also brings several gameplay improvements based on community feedback. These changes include better attacking AI movement, a new dynamic corner kick system, rebalanced defensive AI, increased player control and responsiveness, and smoother overall match flow.

EA Sports FC 27 is set to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 25, 2026. The Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition owners can begin playing on September 18, 2026.
