f1 25

Today, EA Sports unveiled the official release date for Season 3 of its FIA Formula One World Championship series, F1 25, which is set to arrive on September 17, 2025.

Alongside the release date, EA also showed off some of the features set to arrive in EA Sports F1 25, which will add in new features and improve a handful of quality-of-life elements based on user feedback. One of the most significant changes comes via the updated computer-controlled AI drivers.

AI behaviour has been updated so that they can brake later into and accelerate less effectively out of turns, which will not affect overall lap time in Dry conditions, but will be slightly slower than during Wet conditions. Races with the CPU will flow more smoothly, as the AI will enter and exit corners closer to how a real-world driver would, whilst carrying a more appropriate amount of speed through corner apexes.

Other general fixes include an issue in Career mode, where Two Player Career, which could cause a crash when transitioning between seasons. Numerous peripheral, audio, and graphic bugs got improvements, too, all of which you can check out for yourself with the official patch notes here.

When released on September 17, 2025, EA Sports F1 25 will also drop its second Driver Ratings update, which is based on the real-world results from Belgium to Italy (Monza). To read more about the new features coming alongside this patch and what to expect in Season 3, you can check back on Wednesday when the official dedicated blog post for the game is updated.

EA Sports F1 25 is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for $59.99. For more information on the game and some general financial info on EA, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
