Electronic Arts and Codemasters have confirmed the foreseeable future for the EA Sports F1 25 series, detailing the roadmap all the way up to 2027.
F1 25, the most recent game in the series, is set to get a brand new premium expansion next year, focused on the full 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship. The 2026 DLC will be a paid expansion that will align with all the real-world changes coming with the event, bringing fans new cars, sporting regulations, teams, and drivers in accordance with the ongoing results.
EA Sports F1 continues to expand the experience in 2027, as they’ve announced the next full game in the franchise. According to the developers, the next installment promises to be a deeply authentic and innovative representation of the action and thrill of Formula, expanding on what longtime players have loved from the franchise for both new and longtime players in the modern era of the sport.
This move comes as part of a multi-year strategic investment in the EA Sports F1 franchise, which Codemasters Senior Creative Director Lee Mathers below:

F1 25 recently announced Season 4, introducing plenty of new updates, including a new gameplay mode, the latest Driver Ratings update, and a lineup of rewards to celebrate the 2025 real-life Formula 1 series. More information on the rest of the upcoming 2026 roadmap should be coming soon.
