Bandai Namco Entertainment America has officially confirmed that GT has its place in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, showing off an official trailer introducing characters from this controversial arc earlier today. In the video, we get to see everyone from SS4 Gogeta to Syn Shenron to even Great Ape Baby.
The roster is going to be absolutely stacked with characters from all throughout the Dragon Ball Z sagas. It will also be the first mainline title in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series in 15 years, retelling some of the franchise’s best stories while adding some gameplay tweaks and modernized things for current generation consoles.
As of this trailer, there are now only 10 character slots left to be filled in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, as it will feature 164 fighters on its roster. While nothing is confirmed, it seems likely they will go to movie-based characters like Cooler or Turles.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will be released on October 11, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is currently available for pre-order in four different types: Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate, and Premium Collector’s Edition, with each offering exclusive content, early access to the game, or a Broly versus Goku figure that isn’t sold anywhere else depending on the edition you buy.
