Dragon Ball Game Project “Age 1000” Annouced, Set for 2027

Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed that a new Dragon Ball game, referred to as “Age 1000” for now, is coming in 2027.

Bandai Namco shared the news at the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event, a celebration of the franchise’s 40th anniversary. The new project was teased in a two-minute trailer.

This trailer also shared a first look at a never-before-seen character that was designed by Akira Toriyama. Additionally, the trailer shows off a bit of what the new character will look like and do in Project “Age 1000.” Goku also makes an appearance, and the new character go Super Saiyan.

More information about Project “Age 1000” will be announced at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 in California on April 18 to April 19, 2026. There, news about the franchise will be revealed as a whole, including tournaments for games like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Masters, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World, and Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World Digital.

There will also be booths for various games, including Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero, and merchandise stalls.

There’s no news on what consoles Project “Age 1000” will release on, though it’ll probably be revealed at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026.
