DCS World Cold War Germany Map Released

DCS World Mig 21

Today, Ugra-Media released the highly anticipated Cold War Germany map for DCS World, bringing another relevant scenery to the military light simulator.

The map portrays a large part of West Germany and East Germany, and bits of Poland, Czechoslovakia, the Netherlands, and the Baltic Sea, centering on the iconic Fulda Gap.

It measures 980×800 km and portrays several relevant cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Magdeburg, Leipzig, Hannover, Lübeck, and more.

It’s available on Eagle Dynamics’ own store and Steam for $55.99.

Below you can see a trailer from Eagle Dynamics (with absolutely spot-on music from The Rock, but we all know Eagle Dynamics really know how to make trailers) and two from Ugra-Media itself.

The developer has released plenty more videos in the past few weeks, including a first batcha second, a third, a fourtha fiftha sixth, and a seventh.

Here’s list of features:

If you’re unfamiliar with DCS World, it’s a free-to-play flight simulator focusing on military aviation from World War 2 to the present day. It’s available exclusively for PC.

While the sim is free-to-play, it very much requires paid modules to be fully enjoyed, including aircraft, maps, and campaigns like this one.

Recently, Eagle Dynamics unveiled its plans for the implementation of the dynamic campaign and an Instant Action Generator. We also heard about another map focused on the Mariana Islands during World War II.

The developer also provided a look at more content coming this year and beyond, including an F-15C Eagle and an F-35 Lightning II.
