DCS World Cold War Germany Map Footage Shows Hamburg, Rostock, Lübeck, and More

DCS World Germany Cold War

Ugra-Media provided plenty more videos of the upcoming Cold War Germany map for the military flight simulator DCS World.

This time around, we get to see three more relevant cities: Hamburg (including the airport and port), Rostock, and Lübeck.

On top of that, the videos also showcase Garz Airfield, Sperenberg and Hahn Airbases, and a look at the militarized border between East and West Germany.

As usual, the map appears to be highly detailed, and it’ll be very interesting to see what mission and campaign creators will do with it.

You can check out all the videos for yourself below. If you want to see more,  we already saw a first batch of videosa second, and a third, and a fourth, focusing on other areas of the map, including Berlin and its airports.

If you’re unfamiliar with DCS World, it’s a free-to-play flight simulator focusing on military aviation from World War 2 to the present day. It’s available exclusively for PC on Eagle Dynamics’ own store and on Steam.

While the sim is free-to-play, it very much requires paid modules to be fully enjoyed, including aircraft, maps, and campaigns like this one.

Recently, Eagle Dynamics unveiled its plans for the implementation of the dynamic campaign and an Instant Action Generator. We also heard about another map focused on the Marianas during World War II.

The developer also provided a look at more content coming this year and beyond, including an F-15C Eagle and an F-35 Lightning II.
