DCS World developer Eagle Dynamics released its traditional trailer marking the beginning of the year, and showing what’s coming in “2025 and Beyond.”

The big announcements at the end of the trailer are a “full fidelity” McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle and a Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, both coming at some point in the future.

Do keep in mind that the title includes “and beyond” so we shouldn’t expect these aircraft to come necessarily in 2025. For instance, the Mig-29 Fulcrum was announced in the “2024 and Beyond” trailer but has not yet been released.

We also get to see the Eurofighter Typhoon extensively, on top of the C-130 Hercules, the F-100D Super Sabre, and more upcoming content. As one of the most recent releases, we also get to see plenty of the new F-5E Remastered.

In terms of scenery, the video shows quite a few shots of Berlin.

The lion’s share of the trailer is taken by the dynamic campaign, which has been in the works for quite a while and should add a new dimension to DCS World when it’s finally released.

You cn watch it below. Whether you’re interested in DCS World or not, Eagle Dynamics’ trailers are always worth watching.

If you’re unfamiliar with DCS World, it’s a free-to-play military flight simulator focusing on aviation from World War 2 to the present day. It’s available exclusively for PC on Eagle Dynamics’ own store and Steam.

Of course, only the base package is free, and fully enjoying the simulator requires the purchase of additional modules like the aircraft mentioned above, albeit Eagle Dynamics has a solid trial and introductory discount programs, on top of frequent sales.

DCS World is well known among enthusiasts to be very challenging and involved for players who aren’t familiar with complex flight simulation. Enjoying most of its advanced aircraft requires days or even weeks of study, which is something that flight simulation enthusiasts tend to appreciate.
