Crusader Kings 3 Developers Tease Possible Upcoming Expansions With Survey

Crusader Kings 3 Artwork

Today, Paradox Interactive and Studio Black launched a survey that provides interesting hints about the possible upcoming expansions for Crusader Kings 3.

The developers explicitly mention that the results of the survey will provide feedback on which features resonate most with players and what kinds of experiences players are seeking in the game.

They also add that the responses will “have a direct impact on the design decisions” for the game, so if you care about the future of Crusader Kings 3, you may want to take five minutes to provide your opinions.

Interestingly, we hear about four possible themes: Trade & Merchants, Feudalism & Crusades, Empires & Laws, and Religion (specifically Christianity).

For each theme, players are asked to specify which mechanics they want the most. You can find a full list below.

 Trade & Merchants

Feudalism & Crusades

Empires & Laws

Religion (Christianity)

If you’re unfamiliar with Crusader Kings 3, it’s a grand-strategy game with extremely compelling RPG elements, available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

That being said, expansion and updates usually come to consoles much later, as happened with previous DLC.

Recently, it received the Khans of the Steppe expansion, and the next one, All Under Heaven, will bring us to China, Korea, and Japan. Whatever today’s survey inspires will likely come afterward, with Chapter 5.
