In Cozy Builder, players work to restore an earthquake-damaged valley piece by piece, making it their very own. There are vineyards to harvest, artisan goods to create, and residents of the valley to meet and befriend.

Every piece of the chateau must be carefully pieced together; walls, arches, and roofs are all placed individually, so no two players will end up with the same build. Both exteriors and interiors are able to be customized and decorated to the player’s liking, with a large variety of items to choose from.

After players are satisfied with their new home, they can begin harvesting grapes, olives, herbs, wildflowers, and other plants. These can be turned into wine, jams, preserves, and more, and then those can be sold or gifted to other residents of the valley. There are also quests to complete for neighboring residents, such as helping them with their own plots of land.

There is no combat, fail state, or clock in the game, so players have the luxury of taking their time and enjoying every moment.

Cozy Builder also has an online co-op mode, allowing players to team up with a friend. They can work on the same valley together and choose to either share a house or build one for each of them.

A demo is available now on Steam if you just can’t wait to try Cozy Builder. You can watch the release date trailer below to get a look at what the game has to offer.

Cozy Builder releases on PC via Steam on October 14.
