Civilization VII Reveals Tecumseh and the Shawnee 

Civilization 7 Tecumseh

Firaxis and 2K Games revealed a new leader and a new civilization joining the roster of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Tecumseh and the Shawnee.

They’re part of the bonus DLC pack that will be provided to those who pre-order the game, and they will also be included in the Deluxe and Founders Edition of the game. If you miss the bonus, you’ll be able to purchase them separately as a standard DLC.

Unique Ability

Nicaakiyakoolaakwe: Increased Food and Production per Age in Settlements for every City-State you are Suzerain of. Increased Combat Strength for all your Units for every City-State you are Suzerain of.

Suzerain of the World: Decrease Relationship by a Large Amount when a player disperses an Independent, and Increase Relationship by a Small Amount if player does not have an active “Befriend Independent” Project active.

Starting Biases:

As for the Shawnee, they’re an Exploration Age civilization, so you won’t be able to select them at the beginning of the game. Here’s all the information on what you can expect from them.

Unique Ability

Nepekifaki: Settlements built adjacent to Navigable Rivers gain increased Food on River tiles, but Cities not built adjacent to a Navigable River receive less Food.

Unique Infrastructure

Mawaskawe Skote: Unique Improvement. Adds Food. Increased Gold for each adjacent Resource. Must be placed on a Vegetated tile not adjacent to another Mawaskawe Skote.

Unique Civilian Unit 

Hoceepkileni: Unique Missionary Unit. Has increased movement, and Rivers do not end movement. 

Unique Military Unit 

Kispoko Nena’to: Unique Infantry Unit. Has increased Combat Strength for every Empire Resource.

Associated Wonder 

Serpent Mound: Adds Science. Increased Science and Production to all Unique Improvements. Must be placed on a Grassland tile. 

Starting Biases:

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is coming on February 11, 2025, for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
