ViewApp has announced City Transport Simulator 2026, the next installment of the sequel to last year’s City Transport Simulator.
The upcoming title will still focus on giving players the tools to work in public transport as authentically as possible. Players will be responsible for passengers, schedules, and procedures while also planning and driving the routes through the realistic environment.
City Transport Simulator 2026 will make this process feel more varied with new content, improvements, and optimizations.
The game will be available as a free update to those who already own City Transport Simulator: Bus. The content and save data from Bus will transfer to City Transport Simulator 2026, though the new version of the game will be easy for new players to jump into, as well.
City Transport Simulator 2026 is set to be released on April 14 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. For those who don’t own City Transport Simulator: Bus, there will be two editions to choose from.
The Starter Edition gives players the ability to operate buses, trams, and several vehicles. However, the Expert Edition gives players many more vehicles and more trams, along with the South Route DLC and the Basel Style cosmetic pack. There will be an upgrade available for players who first buy the Starter Edition and want to upgrade later.
A DLC is launching with it, the Citybus C2. It includes four new bus variants and different versions of the Citybus C2 (and the Citybus C2G).
