Today, Paradox Interactive and Clossal Order announced the release date of the Bridges & Ports expansion for Cities: Skylines 2.
Following a couple of delays, the expansion will launch on a PC near you on October 29.
Specifically, here’s what you can expect from the expansion:
- 20 new drawbridges and lift bridges: Movable road structures can now allow ships through city waterways without the need for towering bridges. Multiple sizes and styles allow players to prioritize vehicles, pedestrians, or rail traffic, and add a new facet of management to city traffic.
- Customizable ports: Three different sizes of harbor gates give players a range of options to scale up for more traffic. Available also are expansions and upgrades that boost the port’s efficiency, safety, and security. New storage facilities and ore yards, passenger terminals, a customs office, and an emergency response unit help fill out local services, while options like maritime museums and conference centers attract tourism.
- Expanded maritime industries: Bring new business on shore with fishing operations, from fishing piers to inland fish farms, or harvest the bounty of the seas with offshore oil rigs, pipelines, and tankers.
- An ocean of new content: Over 100 new assets, plus new achievements, and never-before-seen maps, including a peninsula, a bay, and vast great lakes.
At the same time, you’ll be able to purchase the Cold Wave Channel Radio Station separately if you don’t want the expansion. The price will be $4.99/£4.49/€4.99.
That being said, if you do get the expansion, the radio station is included.

Cities: Skylines 2 is available for PC. Following a rushed release in late 2023, the game was heavily criticized by media and fans alike, while the console release has been delayed indefinitely (but Colossal Order has been saying that it’s still coming).
The developers have been working hard to restore trust from the fans, and they have been at least successful in improving things considerably.
The game received several free region packs, including France, Germany, the UK, Eastern Europe, Japan, Southwest USA, Northeast USA and the Netherlands.
