The original Cities: Skylines was released on March 10, 2015, and both free and paid content is coming for it and for its successor, Cities: Skylines 2.

Both games will receive an Anniversary patch, albeit the content is different depending on the game.

Cities: Skylines will get dynamic parks, with different appearances depending on the DLC you own. The sequel will get a selection of new parks and buildings themed around the series’ birthday.

The original game will also get two paid creator packs, Countryside and Emerging Downtown, and a radio station, Harvest Harmony.

The sequel will get three paid creator packs, the China-inspired Dragon Gate, Leisure Venues, and Mediterranean Heritage, which includes buildings inspired by 15th-19th century architecture from Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Southern France.

Three new paid radio stations will include Atmospheric Piano, Jade Road, and Feelgood Funk. If you have the Ultimate Edition, you get all the paid packages at no additional cost.

Cities Skylines 2 Content

The patch and content for Cities: Skylines 2 will actually come first on March 18, followed by the patch and content for the original CS, coming on March 25.

Below you can check out a celebratory trailer.

Cities: Skylines is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Cities: Skylines 2 is available for PC. Following a rushed release in late 2023, the game was heavily criticized by media and fans alike, while the console release has been delayed indefinitely (but Colossal Order has been saying it’s still coming).

The developers have been working hard to restore trust in their work, and they have been successful in improving things considerably.

The game received several free region packs including France, Germany, the UK, Eastern Europe, Japan, Southwest USA, and Northeast USA.
