A new Call of Duty: Warzone esports circuit was just announced, the Resurgence Series, offering a $1.2 million prize pool and ending at the Esports World Cup 2026, and registration is open now.
The Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series (COD: WRS) will begin on February 9 with online qualifiers for COD: WRS Birmingham (EU) and COD: WRS Atlanta (NA). Teams of three can register on Faceit here to compete.
There are a few different pathways for teams to progress to COD: WRS Birmingham, and the top four teams from the competition will head to the Esports World Cup 2026. The entire event will last until March 29 and have a $100,000 prize pool on the line.
The same format of Birmingham will take place in Atlanta from April 6 to May 17. There will also be another $100,000 prize pool and five Esports World Cup 2026 spots on the line.
More than eight teams are headed to the COD: WRS Championship at the Esports World Cup though, and the remaining teams will come from the COD: WRS Championship Qualifiers. These dates are still to be determined, and more information will be revealed later.
After that, the COD: WRS Championship will take place from July 29 to August 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 32 trios will compete for a $1 million prize pool, as well as the Championship title and the prestige that comes with it.
