Today, Mercury Studio and Playism announced that their highly anticipated upcoming mech action title, Break Arts 3, will not be ready for its original intended release date of August 8, 2025.
In an official Steam post announcing the delay, the Break Arts 3 team apologized for the delay, citing a need to improve the game’s overall quality as to why they’d be pushing back the release. At the moment, no release window has been provided, but it was stated that one would be provided as soon as they can smooth out the issues.
For those who may not have heard of the title, Break Arts 3 is an action game where players can customize their robots to compete in fast-paced battles and races. To be exact, there are three specific ways to play: racing, battles, and battle races.
Races are all about racing, and no weapons are allowed. Battles feature no set track, letting you move freely around the field to target your rivals. Battle races combine both concepts, making for an intense Mario Kart-like mech battle.
The kicker is that Break Arts 3 will let you select just about every part that goes into your robot, allowing you to customize them according to how you’ll be playing; prioritize speed for races, big guns for battle, or an interesting combo of the two for battle races. The game also features Co-op, Score Attack, and Diorama modes, each boasting its own unique mechanics that make for even more diverse gameplay.
