Motion Game Console BodyLink Funded With 1,900% of (Modest) Kickstarter Goal

Bodylink

Today the Kickstarter campaign for the “next generation motion game console” BodyLink by Rebuff Reality has successfully concluded.

451 backers pledged about 1,900% of the original goal of the campaign, which admittedly was on the modest side, $5,000. The total achieved is $94,576.

The console pairs a 90 FPS tracking camera capable to track the full motions of the user’s body (or up to four users), with a 4K media camera to create footage overlapping the game that can be watched on your TV or shared on social media, without the need of a green screen.

It’ll come with Rebuff Reality’s own Dance Dash pre-installed on every unit and it has a variety of accessories like the Ultra Motion Controller (which is included) and more planned like guns or steering wheels.

Users will also be able to access Android games, emulated games, and a variety of services, giving BodyLink a level of flexibility beyond full-body tracking games.

The release window is September 2025 and despite the campaign being ended, late pledges are still available on Kickstarter, including the $179 early bird edition, which is limited to 10,000 units. Only the “Super Duper Early Bird” tier that was priced at $149 isn’t available anymore, as it was purchasable only in the first 48 hours of the campaign.

If you want it in Black-ish, there is a BodyLink “Founder’s Edition” with a see-through shell instead of the solid white, but that’ll cost you $499, and only 9 are left at the moment of this writing.
