To start, the studio confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 remains its main development focus, while Fallout 5 has officially entered preproduction. Bethesda will also continue to support Starfield with new content, confirmed multiple Fallout projects are in development, and revealed ongoing remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Starfield has now reached over 17 million players, who have logged nearly 1 billion hours in the Settled Systems. As the game enters its third year, plans are in place to add new stories, gameplay improvements, and updates, with new Starborn content set for next year.

Bethesda reported continued growth for its Creations platform, with over 40% of Starfield players using community-made content. Creators have earned more than $10 million in royalties since the program expanded to include Fallout 4 alongside Skyrim and Starfield.

Fallout remains a top priority for company, with several projects in active development. Fallout 5 is now in preproduction, and Fallout 76 will continue to receive support, including a major expansion called Raven Rock, described as a prequel to Fallout 3. Fallout 76 has received nearly 70 free updates since launch.

Fallout 4 has now sold over 35 million copies as it marks its 10-year anniversary, and it was confirmed that ongoing remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are in development, but no release windows were announced. Fallout Shelter has also surpassed 250 million players and will receive new Seasons, and a brand new unscripted television project based on the mobile game is now in development with Amazon Studios and Kilter Films.

The Fallout television series received 10 Emmy nominations for its second season, with production on Season 3 already underway. Bethesda also announced that Fallout Day will return in 2027 as a live event in Washington to mark the franchise’s 30th anniversary.

Alongside this, a new Fallout project in collaboration with Obsidian Entertainment, though details remain undisclosed. ZeniMax Online Studios will also work more closely with Bethesda Game Studios on future Elder Scrolls projects while continuing development of The Elder Scrolls Online.

Both The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 are being developed on Creation Engine 3, Bethesda’s latest proprietary engine, with the updated design set to support multiple projects simultaneously and improve rendering, development tools, and gameplay systems. While Fallout 5 remains in preproduction, Bethesda said The Elder Scrolls 6 is the studio’s primary focus, with the majority of developers working on the next installment in the fantasy role-playing series.

Bethesda also stated it continues to invest in its technology, live-service games, and creator tools while expanding the Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Starfield franchises. No release dates have been announced for The Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 5, or the Fallout remasters.
