Koei Tecmo and Gust have revealed a new trailer, screenshots, art, and gameplay details about Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land.
Besides a new trailer and a gallery of screenshots, we also get beautiful artwork portraying Yumia herself by Benitama.
We learn that while exploring dungeons and ruins you’ll be able to find “memory vials” that will grant you knowledge on the field like the location of relic treasure. You can also dismantle them for rare materials.
You can also find treasure trove keys to gain access to precious loot, including trait crystals that can be used to improve performance of items.
Mana geysers are another relevant found. They release the particles required to unlock new synthesis recipes.
Exploration will at times bring you into “manabound areas” where dense mana is stagnant. These areas will gradually deplete your energy used to run and use abilities in battles. You will need to find Alstahlia Flowers to heal up and discover landmarks to clear the area from the stagnant mana.
Theere are different types of quests, including exclusive ones provided by companions, normal quests, and location quests, which can be unlocked by discovering landmarks and shrines.
We also meet more characters, including the informant Licht, yje anthropologist Wilma, the researcher Erhard, and the small and friendly Alber tribe.
You can check out the trailer and screenshots below.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will be released on March 21, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
It’s not the only Atelier game in development, as Koei Tecmo and Gust are also working on Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian.
