With Tokyo Game Show in Full Swing, Koei Tecmo came swinging with the announcement of Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian.
Right now, many of you are probably asking yourselves “Wait a minute, isn’t the next Atelier game Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land?”
And you would indeed be right but turns out that the good folks at Koei Tecmo have two Atelier games in development, with this one coming in 2025 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
You can see a trailer just below.
As the title implies, the game is set in the same world as the mobile game Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator, which launched in Japan in September 2023 and in January 2024 worldwide.
Despite that, it has a brand new protagonist, albeit we don’t know whether Resna Sternenlicht, who gives the game its name, will appear.
As a matter of fact, besides what we just mentioned, we don’t know much about the game at all. Koei Tecmo mentioned that further details will be shared at a later date.
That being said, we do know that Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian is coming West and a teaser website is already up for the English-speaking audience.
In the meanwhile, if you’d like to know more about Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land, which is coming on March 21, 2025, on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, you can check out an extensive video revealed yesterday.
