American Truck Simulator Reveals First Gameplay of Iowa DLC

American Truck Simulator Iowa

SCS Software has showcased the first gameplay of the upcoming Iowa DLC for its popular sim, American Truck Simulator.

We get to see a full trip from a feedmill depot near Waterloo to an agricultural facility close to Iowa City. Incidentally, the agricultural facility is a new kind of depot developed specifically for the Iowa DLC.

This usually means that the DLC is getting close to release, and a release date should be announced relatively soon. That being said, the developers do warn that not everything we see today is fully complete.

You can watch it below.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2

At the moment, we don’t know when Iowa will be released, but it’s very likely that it’ll be the next DLC to launch. If you’d like to see more, you can check out its fields, the truck stopsthe towns, the road networkmore settlements, the bridges, an Ethanol plant, and the farming industry.

SCS Software also recently revealed Louisiana (alongside its truck stops and welcome centers, and buildings) and Illinois. You can take a look at its truck stops and the city of Marion. The developers also teased South Dakota, although it has not yet been confirmed by name.

Perhaps the most interesting recent announcement is the Road Trip mode, which will let you drive pickup trucks and other vehicles in the same world that has been reserved for cargo transport until now, including new reasons to drive and explore.

Last, but not least, a few weeks ago, we saw the free addition of the Kenworth W900 Legacy Edition.
