Today, SCS Software showcased another extensive look at the upcoming Louisiana DLC for American Truck Simulator.
The gallery of screenshots showcases what’s basically the most iconic part of the Pelican State, its wetlands and forests.
We get to see the area along the Mississippi River on Route 65, on top of the LA-82, closer to the southern coast, where you can experience more of the bayou region.
That being said, Louisiana also has different environments, like the northern area along the I-20, where you can find rolling hills made of red soil.
You can check out all the images below.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. It has recently been updated to patch 1.55.
We don’t know when the Louisiana DLC will be released, as SCS likes to announce release dates only a few days before a DLC launch. That being said, you can already check out its truck stops, welcome centers, buildings, some cities, and more settlements.
SCS Software also recently revealed Illinois, of which you can see the truck stops, the city of Marion, Rockford, and Quincy.
The latest DLC announced by the developer is South Dakota, while a rework has been revealed for the areas around the famous Route 66.
Perhaps the most interesting recent announcement is the Road Trip mode, which will let you drive pickup trucks and other vehicles in the same world that has been reserved for cargo transport until now, including new reasons to drive and explore.
