American Truck Simulator developer SCS Software released today a new look and details related to the upcoming Louisiana DLC.
With the official post on Steam, we get to see multiple cities of the Pelican State included in the DLC, starting with Lafayette and its landmarks, the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, the First Presbyterian Church,the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, and Lafayette Middle School.
We then move on to Houma, which includes the Terrebonne Parish Library, the Hancock Whitney Bank, and the Terrebonne Parish Government Office.
The city of Monroe showcases more landmarks, including the First Baptist Church and the campus of the University of Louisiana.
Moving on to Natchitoches, we get to see the Central High School and the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC, and itâs the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
At the moment, we donât know when Louisiana will be released, but it’s probably somewhat far off. If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy a look at its original reveal, its truck stops, welcome centers, and buildings.
The next DLC to launch is likely Iowa, and you can check out its fields, the truck stops, the towns, the road network, more settlements, the bridges, an Ethanol plant, and the farming industry.
We also saw plenty of gameplay showing a route from a feedmill depot near Waterloo to an agricultural facility close to Iowa City.
SCS Software also recently revealed Illinois, of which you can see the truck stops and the city of Marion. We also just saw the tease of South Dakota, although it has not yet been confirmed by name.
Perhaps the most interesting recent announcement is the Road Trip mode, which will let you drive pickup trucks and other vehicles in the same world that has been reserved for cargo transport until now, including new reasons to drive and explore.
Last, but not least, a few weeks ago, we saw the free addition of the Kenworth W900 Legacy Edition.
