Today, SCS Software released new screenshots and details of the upcoming Iowa DLC coming for American Truck Simulator.
According to the official reveal, the state has plenty of fields and farms, but it’s also getting two new depot types that are related to the farming industry. The Agricultural Factory manufactures the machinery, while the Agriculture Dealer sells it to customers.
You can find both of these depots in various locations in Iowa, and they can provide you with delivery jobs to perform.
Further jobs can be found at farms specializing in wheat, cattle, and pigs, on top of a grain elevator depot.
You can check out all the screenshots below.
American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
At the moment, we don’t know when Iowa will be released, but it’s very likely that it’ll be the next DLC to launch. If you’d like to see more, you can check out its fields, the truck stops, the towns, the road network, more settlements, the bridges, and an Ethanol plant.
SCS Software also recently revealed Louisiana (alongside its truck stops and welcome centers, and buildings) and Illinois. You can take a look at its truck stops and the city of Marion.
Perhaps the most interesting recent announcement is the Road Trip mode, which will let you drive pickup trucks and other vehicles in the same world that has been reserved for cargo transport until now, including new reasons to drive and explore.
Last, but not least, a few weeks ago, we saw the free addition of the Kenworth W900 Legacy Edition.
