Today, SCS Software released new screenshots and details of the upcoming DLC for American Truck Simulator, Iowa, specifically focusing on the city of Cedar Rapids.
In the new official post on Steam, we get to see the Cedar River, which gives the city its name, the iconic welcome sign at the edge of town, the Cedar Rapids Arena, and the Veterans Memorial Building.
The rendition of the city also includes the airport and a famous food processing facility, which also serves as a depot where you can find jobs.
The airport has two delivery locations of its own, and you’ll also find more jobs at a paper mill and a generating station.
You can enjoy all the screenshots below.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
At the moment, we don’t know when Iowa will be released, but it’s very likely that it’ll be the next DLC to launch. If you’d like to see more, you can check out its fields, the truck stops, the towns, the road network, more settlements, the bridges, an Ethanol plant, and the farming industry.
We also saw plenty of gameplay showing a route from a feedmill depot near Waterloo to an agricultural facility close to Iowa City.
SCS Software also recently revealed Louisiana (alongside its truck stops and welcome centers, and buildings) and Illinois. You can take a look at its truck stops and the city of Marion. The developers also teased South Dakota, although it has not yet been confirmed by name.
Perhaps the most interesting recent announcement is the Road Trip mode, which will let you drive pickup trucks and other vehicles in the same world that has been reserved for cargo transport until now, including new reasons to drive and explore.
Last, but not least, a few weeks ago, we saw the free addition of the Kenworth W900 Legacy Edition.
