SCS Software has released the 1.57 update for American Truck Simulator, bringing HDR support, new company logos, and more.
To kick things off, the 1.57 update for American Truck Simulator introduces HDR support for users who have an HDR-compatible display. This is automatically detected when players launch the game, kicking off from the start for a better experience.
Additionally, the brightness setup in general has been put in the hands of the users. Players will be able to preview brightness changes on in-game images, as well as use a slider to get the most out of HDR effects.

That’s not the only way the sim is improving in the 1.57 update. The players’ company logos have also been reworked. These new logos are more modern takes on the original, classic designs. This should make the new logos feel both fresh and familiar.

Additionally, cursor navigation has been improved in a few ways. It’s more responsive for players who are using controllers. The speed has also been increased a bit, and the speed is now consistent across different screen resolutions to keep players comfortable.
The last thing in the changelog for American Truck Simulator’s 1.57 update is minor gas station changes. Players have been able to access the 1.57 update in beta since earlier this month, but it’s now been officially released.
American Truck Simulator is available on PC, and it’ll be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the future.
