Today SCS Software released a gallery of screenshots and new details about the upcoming DLC for American Truck Simulator focusing on Missouri.
Specifically, we get to see the custom-designed depots that populate the State including a livestock farm, a crop farm, grain elevators, and river ports.
Many of these are inspired by real-world locations and feature dedicated loading and unloading areas for each type of cargo they provide.
The developers tried to strike a balance between realism and creativity to keep the experience engaging while preserving a sense of authenticity. This is mostly due to the fact that the scale of the map has some limitations.
You can check out all the screenshots below.
American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. It has recently been updated with version 1.53 which included phase 4 of the California rework with Santa Maria, Oxnard, Mojave, Barstow, Indio, Blythe, Los Angeles, San Diego, and El Centro.
The Missouri DLC doesn’t have a release date just yet. SCS Software usually announces release dates only when they are very close. If you want to see more, you can check out its lakes and rivers, Maryville, its junctions and intersections, Cape Girardeau, and the iconic underground warehouses.
The sim also recently received the Arkansas DLC while Lousiana has recently been announced.
We also saw an extensive livestream in which the developers provided a lot of info and even images of more content coming down the line, including new trucks.
