According to the official post, the DLC will include a lot of new flower assets to reflect the state’s effort to protect native flowers and grass with environmental programs. The terrain is mostly rolling hills and flat plains with a gradual increase in elevation toward the northwest.

You can expect a lot of agricultural land and to see plenty of corn and soybean fields. Transporting local produce will be a big part of the jobs in Iowa. There will also be forests, but they only cover 8% of Iowa’s land.

The DLC will feature natural landmarks including the famous Tree in the Road located near I-80 between Omaha and Des Moines.

American Truck Simulator 2 Iowa

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. It has recently been updated with version 1.53 which included phase 4 of the California rework with Santa Maria, Oxnard, Mojave, Barstow, Indio, Blythe, Los Angeles, San Diego, and El Centro.

The Iowa DLC doesn’t have a release date just yet. SCS Software usually announces release dates only when they are very close.

It’s likely that the Missouri DLC will come first, and if you want to take a look, you can check out its lakes and rivers, Maryville, its junctions and intersections, Cape Girardeau, the iconic underground warehouses, and the custom depots.

The sim also recently received the Arkansas DLC while Lousiana has recently been announced.

We recently saw an extensive livestream in which the developers provided a lot of info and even images of more content coming down the line, including new trucks.
