Rokt the Rig is a program from Rokt that works to include female sim racers more and more in the esports scene. First launched in 2023, the program helps train women in sim racing, too.

The new all-female iRacing team is an extension of this, which led to Rokt and Red Bull Racing Pepep Jeans Academy Programme ringing the opening bell at the Nasdaq MarketSite yesterday.

So far, there’s only one driver that’s been confirmed. Annemarie D’Alessandro, a standout racer from Rokt the Rig, will be a key driver. However, there are still several spots.

Female sim racers who want to join the team can sign up for open trials here on the official Rokt Discord.

The team’s car livery is designed by a female-led creative team. It will feature branding from Rokt and aesthetic choices that align with Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing.

Rokt has done quite a bit to push for more diversity in sim racing esports and STEM in general. It’s a co-creator of the Driven Beyond Limits video series as well, which features female engineers from Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Several of the leaders behind this newest project had comments to share. Elizabeth Buchanan, the Chief Commercial Officer at Rokt, said:

“We’re excited to take the next step in our mission to create more opportunities for women in sim racing. By combining Rokt’s expertise in technology with Oracle Red Bull Racing’s leadership in motorsports, we’re helping female drivers develop their skills and compete on a global stage.”

Julia George, the Director of Partnerships at Oracle Red Bull Racing, shared:

“Representation is critical in sim racing, and we’re proud to work with Rokt to support female drivers and engineers. With the backing of world-class coaching and training, this initiative will help open doors for more women in competitive sim racing while also creating future role models in the sport.”
