While there are a few ATC simulators on the market, like I Am an Air Traffic Controller 4/Airport Hero and Tower Simulator 3, Airport Control 25 has a few elements distinguishing it.

First of all, it’s set in China, which is certainly a rather unique environment, and unlike its competitors, it features real airline liveries, which are usually excluded by developers to avoid having to license them.

As a matter of fact, the developers of Airport Control 25 embrace the concept further with Steam Workshop support to let players share their own liveries, on top of aircraft, airports, and flight schedules.

The game debuted originally on the Chinese platform Adfian, which you can consider it pretty much a local version of Patreon. It’ll release in 2026 and its Steam page is already available.

The developer isn’t new to ATC simulation, as it has already published Mini Airways on Steam, albeit Airport Control 25 appears to be considerably more advanced.

You can see a trailer and a few screenshots below.

Here’s a look at the features promised by Airport Control 25.

1:1 Authentic Airport Infrastructure

  • Animated boarding bridges — single, dual, and triple-bridge stands
  • Full airfield lighting suite — ILS, rabbit strobes, PAPI, runway / taxi-way edge & centerline lights
  • Exact markings — taxiway and runway designators, stand lead-in / lead-out lines
  • Operational limits modelled — pavement class, wingspan restrictions, turnaround pads

Bilingual Dynamic Radio

  • AI-generated ATC and pilot read-backs that mirror your clearances in real time
  • Multinational pilot accents; phraseology selectable in English or Mandarin

Complete Arrival & Departure Flow

  • Authentic SID / STAR / APP procedures with altitude and speed constraints
  • One-click assignment of predefined taxi and departure routes

Ground Handling Freedom

  • Select push-back position and nose orientation
  • Queue commands: follow preceding aircraft, follow-me car, give-way at intersections
  • Runway ops: line-up & wait, take-off, rejected take-off, designated high-speed exits
  • Special cases covered — pause taxi, hold short at TWY/RWY and more

Built for Simulation Purists

  • Photoreal scenes and modular airports, with new fields and aircraft added over time
  • Native 4K & ultra-wide support
  • Steam Workshop (planned) — share custom liveries, aircraft, airports, and flight schedules
