Distribution to anyone who pre-order the Aerosoft Truck & Bus System via the Aerosoft shop starts this week, while those who went through Amazon will have to wait until November 21.

According to company CEO Winfried Diekmann, this system was “designed to bridge the immersion gap for dedicated fans of truck and bus driving simulators, for a market largely dominated by smaller wheel systems for racing or car driving.” It includes a 40cm diameter steering wheel with a full 1080° rotation and force feedback, a multi-programmable gear level unit, and a three-pedal set (accelerator, clutch, and brake).

Other features relevant to the steering and gear levers and pedals can be seen broken down below.

Steering Wheel Features:

  • 40 cm center-sprung steering wheel
  • 1080° steering wheel angle
  • Ultra-realistic force feedback
  • Multiple action buttons, retarder lever, indicator lever, and a large motor start button
  • Metal clamps for easy mounting on desks or tables

Gear Lever and Pedal Features:

  • Gear lever unit with 14 programmable action buttons and a switch for H-shift/sequential modes
  • Large accelerator, clutch, and brake pedals with realistic pressure dynamics
  • USB-A to USB-C cables for connectivity, and metal clamps for secure mounting

Aerosoft was founded in 1991 to develop software to train pilots and distribute professional procedure trainers. In 2002, the company expanded its focus from flight simulation, working on games like Microsoft Flight Simulator, to releasing products in other genres of simulation, like Euro Truck Simulator 2. Today, it is one of the industry’s leading providers of simulation software and hardware.

Anyone interested in purchasing the Aerosoft Truck & Bus System can visit the official website here.
