Today, Sedleo and Dear Villagers announce that their highly anticipated medieval action title, 1348 Ex Voto, will be released on March 12, 2026.
1348 Ex Voto puts players in the shoes of the story of Aeta, a young knight-errant in medieval Italy who encounters a series of trials on her path to knighthood and the ultimate goal of saving her closest companion, Bianca. To find success, will need to defeat fanatical zealots, roaming bandits, and battle-hardened mercenaries, all the while dealing with the virulent plague that threatens to tear apart an already fragile society.

Combat and exploration are the biggest gameplay aspects of this exciting new indie third-person medieval action title, as Sedleo has carefully collaborated with industry experts to craft a combat system inspired by Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). You’ll use Aeta’s martial knowledge to surprise and overcome your enemies by strategically choosing between 2 different combat stances, one and two-handed.
Players can also find skill books throughout their adventure to unlock new combos and personalize Aeta’s swordplay with different weapon parts. 1348 Ex Voto will release on PC (Steam) and PS5 for $24.99 for the Standard Edition, and $29.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
It was also originally planned for Xbox consoles, but that version was eventually cancelled to focus the studio’s efforts on delivering the best possible experience on PC and PlayStation.
