Today, SCS Software showcased one of the upcoming DLC map expansions coming to American Truck Simulator, Iowa.
Specifically, the official post focuses on the road network included in the DLC.
We get to see the interstate 80 interchange near Iowa City, some of the unique bridges across the state, including the Women of Achievement Bridge in Des Moines, the Centennial Bridge in Davenport, and the wooden Madison Bridge in Madison County.
Next is the rest stop on I-80 westbound near Adair, with its iconic Wind Turbine sculpture, on top of a couple of depots.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. Update 1.54 has recently been released with new features and improvements.
If you’d like to see more of Iowa, you can check out its truck stops and towns. At the moment, a release date has not been announced for this DLC. SCS usually doesn’t announce dates until the release is very close.
Speaking of release date, we recently learned that of Missouri. If you want to see more about it, you can check out its lakes and rivers, Maryville, its junctions and intersections, Cape Girardeau, the iconic underground warehouses, the custom depots, more custom depots, Kansas City, St. Louis, and some of the new industries.
The sim also recently received the Arkansas DLC, while Louisiana (alongside its truck stops) and Illinois have recently been announced.
